fravarâne mazdayasnô zarathushtrish vîdaêvô ahura-tkaêshô
1. Yatha Ahu Vairyo...(12).
Ashem Vohu...(3).
I profess myself a Mazda-worshipper, a follower of Zarathushtra, opposing the Daevas, accepting the Ahuric doctrine.
rapithwinâi ashaone ashahe rathwe ýasnâica vahmâica xshnaothrâica frasastayaêca frâdat-fshave zañtumâica ashaone ashahe rathwe ýasnâica vahmâica xshnaothrâica frasastayaêca. To Rapithwin, Asha-sanctified, the master of Asha, for worship, adoration, propitiation, and praise. To Fradat-Fshu and Zangtuma, Asha- sanctified, the masters of Asha, for worship, adoration, propitiation, and praise.
2. ahurahe mazdå raêvatô hvarenanguhatô ameshanãm speñtanãm ashahe vahishtahe âthrasca ahurahe mazdå puthra vîspaêshãm ýazatanãm ashaonãm mainyavanãm gaêthyanãm, ashâunãm fravashinãm ukhranãm aiwithûranãm paoiryô-tkaêshanãm fravashinãm nabânazdishtanãm fravashinãm xshnaothra ýasnâica vahmâica xshnaothrâica frasastayaêca. 2. To Ahura Mazda, rich, possessing good things, and the Amesha Spentas; to the Highest Asha and Fire, son of Ahura Mazda; To all celestial and terrestrial Yazatas, Asha-sanctified; to the fravashis among the strong, completely victorious, strong, victorious fravashis of the Asha-sanctified, among the fravashis of the first teachers, among the fravashis of the next of kin - for worship, adoration, propitiation, and praise.
(zôt,) ýathâ ahû vairyô, zaotâ frâ-mê mrûtê, (râspî,) ýathâ ahû vairyô, ýô zaotâ frâ-mê mrûtê, (zôt,) athâ ratush ashâtcît haca, frâ ashava vîdhvå mraotû! 'Yatha Ahu Vairyo', the zaotar should say to me
'Yatha Ahu Vairyo', he who is the zaotar should say to me
'Atha ratush ashatchit hacha', the Asha-sanctified knowing one should say.

(Karda:)

(Priests:)

3. atha-zî mraot ahurô mazdå spitamâi zarathushtrâi rapithwinahe rathwô uxdhem vacô, peresaca-nå ashâum zarathushtra ýâ tê ahmâi parshta parshtem zî thwâ ýathanâ tat amavañtãm ýat thwâ xshayãs aêshem dayât amavañtem. 3. So thus did Ahura Mazda speak to Spitama Zarathushtra the word for the Rapithwin office: Ask what you have to ask of us, o Asha-sanctified Zarathushtra. A question from you is mightier because it is able to fulfill the mighty wish.
4. peresat zarathushtrô ahurem mazdãm, ahura mazda mainyô spênishta dâtare gaêthanãm astvaitinãm ashâum cvat hô-nâ anghuyâite cvat hô-nâ ashayeiti cvat ahmâi naire mizhdem anghat 4. Then Zarathushtra asked Ahura Mazda: o Ahura Mazda, most Holy Spirit, Creator of the material world, Asha-sanctified! what does that man acquire, what does he merit, what reward shall there be for that man
5. ýô rapithwinahe ratufrita rapithwinem ratûm framarâite rapithwinem ratûm frâyazâite frasnâtaêibya zastaêibya frasnâtaêibya hâvanaêibya frasteretât paiti baresmen uzdâtât paiti haomât raociñtât paiti âthrât srâvayamnât paiti ahunât vairyât haomô- angharshtahe hizvô mãthrô-hitahe tanvô. 5. who recites the Rapithwin office with the Rapithwin prayer for blessing, and who sacrifices with the Rapithwin office with washed hands and washed mortars, with the Baresman spread, and with Haoma high uplifted, and with brightly burning fire, with Ahuna-vairya loudly uttered, with Haoma-moistened tongue, and with a body Manthra-bound?
6. paiti-shê aoxta ahurô mazdå, ýatha vâtô rapithwenatarât naêmât spitama zarathushtra vîspem ahûm astvañtem frâdhatica varedhatica saoshyañtica aiwica ashâite jâmayâiti avat hô-nâ anghuyete avat ahmâi naire mizhdem anghat 6. Ahura Mazda answered: o Spitama, as the southern wind causes the entire material world to advance and increase, blessing and rejoicing it, and causing it to progress, a similar reward will that man receive,
7. ýô rapithwinahe ratufrita rapithwinem ratûm framarâite rapithwinem ratûm frâyazâite frasnâtaêibya zastaêibya frasnâtaêibya hâvanaêibya frasteretât paiti baresmen uzdâtât paiti haomât raociñtât paiti âthrât srâvayamnât paiti ahunât vairyât haomô- angharshtahe hizvô mãthrô-hitahe tanvô. 7. who recites the Rapithwin office with the Rapithwin blessing, and sacrifices with it with washed hands and mortars, with Baresman spread, and Haoma lifted, with brightly burning fire, with Ahuna-vairya loud uttered, and with Haoma-moistened tongue, and a body Manthra-bound!
8. fravaocat ahurô mazdå spitamâi zarathushtrâi rapithwinahe rathwô uxdhem vacô. 8. So did Ahura Mazda declare to Spitama Zarathushtra the word which should be spoken at Rapithwin.
ashem vohû...(3). Ashem Vohu...(3).
(The Zoti picks up two flowers from the base of the fire urn. He holds the flower from the left side in his right hand and passes the other to the Raspi who also holds it in his right hand.)

(The priests then exchange their flowers. They touch the ground)

(During the first recital of the following verse, the Zoti picks up the three flowers from the right side, one by one, beginning from above and hands them to the Raspi who stands to the right of the Zoti. During the second recital, the Zoti picks up the three flowers from the left hand side beginning from below and hands them to the Raspi who stands to the left of the Zoti.)
